Editing Process

After a succesfull film over the weekend. Im now in the process of editing my media.

Having imported my clips, I was then ready to start editing my video.

Looking at my clips I realised that the were to fast so I decided to slow them down.

 Using the clip speed/ duration I achieved this.

I Changed it from 100 to 80

Filming Again

Im due to film tomorrow at 3.10pm! Everything is ready and set to go.

Filming

Due to sound cloud not working our filming was pretty much ruined. I had prepared everything but had no track to play against to make sure the timing of the lip syncing was perfect it seemed a waste to just leave it so we decided to record Kim singing on her phone and she sang along to that instead. We've now arranged to film again on the next Sunday. This problem has still be able to teach me different camera angles and given me a better idea of what I want the final product to look like. Looking back at the footage Ive also learnt that I need to get Kim to engage more in the camera, knowing sometimes this may be a bit daunting I need to make her feel more comfortable when filming.

I love the old sort of look in this video. The attention to detail is one of Corrin Hardys most important features and I intend to achieve this within my music video. 

R AND P - Media conference December 14th

Nearing the end of the term, we travelled to London to a media conference held by Media Magazine. Pete Fraser was there to give us a lecture on the sort of things to include into our blogs and how to achieve a good grade in media. 
We also got to listen to Corrin Hardy who has directed and produced music videos for some big artists including Olly Murs, Keane and The Prodigy looking at his work has inspired me to really add detail 
into my music video and how important mise-en-scene actually is.
